Alamo Heights Bathroom

About This Project

Cabinet: Frameless – Simply White

Countertop: Granite – Mercury White

Shower tile material: Customer provided material

In this project, we actually remodeled a bathroom and kitchen in the same home. For the bathroom, the client asked that we:

  • Convert old bathtub to a walk-in shower with a bench and shampoo insert
  • Convert old shower to a tall pantry to gain extra storage space
  • Patch up drywall and modify layout
  • Install new electrical outlets and wiring
  • Reconfigure plumbing to accommodate new shower head, faucet, etc.
  • Replace Bathroom Cabinets with new, frameless cabinets
  • Replace Bathroom Countertop with new, granite countertop
  • Replace old bathtub tile with new material, provided by the customer

From design to installation, we paid close attention to each step and made sure that we finished the project quickly, correctly, and on-budget. The marble-like design of the new countertops matched perfectly with the shower tile. The variation in color between the shower tile and the backsplash accents gave the room a broader appeal and took the style and decor to another level.

Overall, we’re ecstatic about the end result of this project and also like to point out that it’s a great example of how to add a stylish, walk-in shower without doors to your bathroom.
