Cabinet: Framed Birch – Avalon Ashen

Countertop: Quartz – Alpine

Shower Tile Material: Focus-Graphite 12 x 24 (wall tile); Focus-Glacier 12 x 24 (floor tile); White pebble stone (shower floor tile)

This bathroom project featured many facets and components. The client asked that we update the look of their traditional bathroom and make it more contemporary by:

• Converting the bathtub to a walk-in shower with a bench and shampoo insert
• Add tile wall all the way up to ceiling.
• Build a bench with quartz surface.
• Convert the old shower to a tall pantry to increase storage space in the room
• Modify drywall and patch up any irregularities
• Remove the half-moon window and replace with a smaller, rectangular window
• Rewire the electrical lines and install new lighting and a new outlet
• Rework the plumbing to add new showered, new faucet, etc.
• Install new tile floor

The entire project was completed in under three weeks, and the client absolutely loved their new bathroom. This is one of our favorite recent projects because it serves as a great example of how some small updates can completely revitalize a traditional San Antonio bathroom and give it a much more modern, edgy and contemporary feel.
