This was another fun first for New Generation: the first project where we handled a kitchen and bathroom remodel for the same client at the same time! For the kitchen project, the client wanted to update their cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, sink and essentially redesign the entire feel of their kitchen. They even wanted to add new flooring the kitchen to bring the aesthetic together. For this project, we:

• Installed new wood flooring
• Removed old light fixtures, added recessed light and pendant lights
• Re-wired electrical systems to accommodate new lights
• Removed, added and patched areas of drywall
• Installed new cabinets
• Installed new countertops
• Installed custom tile backsplash
• Reworked the plumbing to accommodate the new sink location

This modern kitchen design turned out great after all was said and done. The client’s choice of a simple, shaker all-wood cabinet, gray-tinted countertop and black tile backsplash came together perfectly to really accentuate one another and add a trendy, stylish appeal to the entire space. The large, white, farmer sink and huge functional island helped to make sure the kitchen was just as useful and functional as beautiful. The addition of the silver pendant lights really brought the room together. This project serves as a great example of how New Generation can give you a kitchen that’s worthy of inclusion in home magazines.
