This custom Alamo Ranch bathroom remodeling project put our abilities to the test, but also is a great example of how much of a change some simple updates and modifications can make to the overall appearance of the bathroom. We absolutely loved the way this one turned out, and the customer was ecstatic. For this project, we:

• Converted the bathtub to a walk-in shower with a shampoo insert
• Replaced the tile in the shower and added tile around the bottom of the walls
• Replaced the flooring tile with matching tile from the new walk-in shower
• Rewired electrical systems, including adding new lighting and outlets
• Updated plumbing to accommodate new faucet, shower head, etc.
• Installed bathroom cabinets
• Added custom granite countertops
• Updated the bathroom sinks

To update this bathroom, the client chose cabinets in a rich grey tone, paired with a timeless, classic birch frame cabinet design to add a touch of a luxury look to the bathroom. Adding the neutral color tile to floor, shower and walls helped to blend all of the elements together. We also added a vertical accent tile strip in the shower, a bit of a twist on the traditional horizontal approach that most San Antonio bathroom remodeling contractors employ.

The end result is a bathroom that is significantly upgraded, gives a crisp, clean aesthetic, and offers a luxurious appeal that the old bathroom simply couldn’t offer. With these elements together, the home owner has created their ideal bathroom and given themselves a space that they will appreciate spending time in for years to come. All of the project was completed in less than two weeks, and we actually finished under the client’s initial budget expectations.
