For this San Antonio bathroom remodeling project, we were tasked with converting a family’s existing, mid-90s era bathroom into an updated, modern bathroom witha  clean, crisp aesthetic. For this project, our team helped the customers:

  • Remove the garden tub and upgrade the walk-in shower
  • Add a shampoo insert into the new shower
  • Modify drywall and patch up imperfections
  • Build a knee-high wall, and cover it with the same tile material
  • Tile the shower wall all the way up to ceiling
  • Convert the shower opening to another side
  • Update electrical works and systems, install the new lights and add an outlet
  • Modified existing plumbing works, added the new shower head, faucet, and additional features
  • Install new tile floor, cabinet, countertop, and grab bar in the shower.

For this project, the customer chose a traditional grey color that was a blend of modern and contemporary, and gave the bathroom a nice, calming appeal. The cabinet style blends both elements and enhances the beauty of the bathroom. Our new countertops helped pull the color combination together beautifuly, and the new color of tile blended the overall appearance together in a design that was both trendy and traditional. By connverting the side of the shower door, we also helped make the space more functional and more appealing with the new tile and accent mosaics.

In the end, this project was a huge success. The customer loved the overall result, and actually requested that we work with them on another project for their kitchen (updated in another post). We’re so excited to see the great results, and love the way the small changes we made to the space brightened the bathroom, added upgraded functionality, and gave the homeowners a bathroom they can enjoy for years to come.
